Creative Arts Classes:

(ALL SUPPLIES ARE PROVIDED)

Exploring the Arts:.....................................................................................$10.00/class
(Pre-school and Kindergarten): Ages 3-6 with adult (optional-recommended w/3 year olds). This class is an introduction to the arts for pre-school/kindergarten aged children. They will learn about the different art disciplines by combining fine art projects (painting, sculpture, clay, collage, more), with drama, musical rhythms (drumming), singing, and movement. Maximum class=6 children.
 

Multi-media Classes:..................................................................................$12.00/hour
All multi-media classes are a hands-on approach to creative expression. Paint, clay, collage, sculpture, drawing, and many other mediums are explored. Students will occasionally be introduced to the art and work of painters, sculptors, and other artists by creating an art project in the style of that artist. The process of creativity is encouraged above the product. Maximum class=6 students.

Multi-media for Children (1st – 3rd grades)   One Hour

Multi-media for Children (4th – 6th grades) One Hour

Multi-media for Teens & Young Adults: 1-1/2 hours.

Creative Expression for Women:..........................................................$25.00/class
This class allows women to safely express themselves while exploring various art mediums within a healing/learning environment. It is designed to promote spontaneous expression as well as allowing a playful attitude toward creativity. Collage, clay, paint, sculpture and more will be explored. 1-1/2 to 2 hour classes. Max=6.

 Herbal and Alternative Healing Classes

A GROUP RATE FOR 8 OR MORE IS AVAILABLE. ALL WORKSHOPS ARE PRESENTED OFF SITE - AT YOUR PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT, MEETING, SCHOOL, OR HOME.
  

Making Mandalas (with Charles Gilchrist) ...................................................$50.00
The mandala pattern (the circle) has been used to illustrate wholeness and truth in both religious and secular cultures. Mandalas provide a tool for inner peace, while meditating on the mandala’s center helps to ground and to move one’s concentration inward. In this workshop with Charles Gilchrist, world renowned mandala artist and photographer, participants will learn to use the language of sacred geometry and open-eyed meditation to discover their own oracle through mandala making. Mandala making puts one in direct connection to higher mind, and allows one to dialogue with Spirit. Included in this workshop is your own mandala making kit. Approx. 3 hours.

Herbal Remedies for Women: 1-1/2 hours....................................................$20.00
This seminar will provide information to women on the safe and effective use of herbal remedies. The focus of this will be for women’s reproductive health.

Understanding Alternative Healing Therapies: 2 hours............................$25.00
Herbs, flower essences, crystals, Reiki, and aromatherapy will be explained and discussed. This class includes a short Reiki demonstration.

Drum Circle for Women: 1 hour.......................................................................$13.00
The drum is round, a container that vibrates life; it is a feminine form that has “belonged” to women since the beginning of time. This workshop will teach how to access the heartbeat of Mother Earth through various rhythms that are used for meditation and ceremony. Drums can be provided - or bring your own.

Meditation Workshop: 1-1/2 hours..................................................................$15.00
Learn the basics of meditation in this workshop. Various techniques will be discussed and practiced.

Introduction to Herbs; History, Food, and Medicine: 1-1/2 hrs..............$25.00
In this fun and enjoyable seminar, come and experience the world of herbs beyond plain parsley. Learn which herbs can help certain medical conditions while flavoring food. 

Making Herbal Remedies: 2 hours..............................................................$35.00
Learn the basics of creating your own safe and effective herbal remedies in this hands-on workshop. Tea, poultice, oils, salves, tinctures and more will be demonstrated.
